Terms of Service

These terms apply to your use of GrantWise Canada (“GrantWise”, “we”), including the website and the signed-in application. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them on behalf of yourself and your organization.

The service

GrantWise provides software to find, track, and report on grants and contribution agreements. Features may change as the product develops. Pilots and trials may have their own scope, price, and duration, which we will confirm in writing.

Accounts and access

• You are responsible for the activity under your account and for the people you invite.
• Provide accurate information and keep your sign-in email secure.
• Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

Your content

You keep ownership of the grant records, documents, and other content you add. You give us permission to store, process, and display it solely to provide the service to you, including by our service providers listed in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for having the right to upload your content and for not uploading information you are not permitted to share.

Acceptable use

• Do not misuse the service, attempt to access other organizations’ data, or interfere with its operation.
• Do not use the service for unlawful purposes.

Grant data, AI output, and your responsibility

Grant program information comes from public sources and may be incomplete, out of date, or incorrect. AI-generated drafts and summaries may contain errors. GrantWise does not provide legal, financial, or accounting advice. Always confirm eligibility, deadlines, and reporting requirements directly with the funder, and review all content before you rely on it or submit it.

Fees

Fees, if any, are set out in the quote or plan you accept. Taxes are added where applicable. Unless a written agreement says otherwise, you can stop using the service at any time.

Availability and support

We work to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Support is provided by email.

Ending the service

You may stop using GrantWise and ask us to delete or return your workspace content. We may suspend or end access for misuse or non-payment. After the service ends, we will handle your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

Disclaimer and limits on liability

The service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, GrantWise is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes and contact
